Two Words: Missionary Life

This past week flew by!!! We had a zone 전도(proselyting) activity, zone conference, English class, and an awesome lesson with our only investigator. It was a blast!

I'll start with our investigator lesson. Our investigator is in her 60s. We wanted our lesson to be really good so we practiced a lot! When we met with her on Wednesday, Sister Robinson asked her how she was doing and she told us about some things she is struggling with. The gift of tongues is real! I was able to understand her and Sister Robinson started talking to her about the Atonement. We ended up sharing Alma 7:11-13 and teaching the Atonement (which was not the lesson we planned). It was an amazing lesson. You could just felt the spirit. After the lesson we had English class and she was telling all the English class members about how she loves our church:)

Then on Saturday during English class, we ended up talking for about 20 minutes about the word of wisdom and baptism! It was neat because our class members were asking us about it.

Thursday we did sticker boarding as a zone. Sticker boarding is where we have a board with questions and ask people to put a sticker by their question.  It was so much fun!

Friday we had zone conference! That is the meeting where our mission president comes and gives us training. We learned about the importance of teaching repentance. I didn't realize just how important it is. Repentance is change and if our investigators aren't changing before baptism, they won't change after. It was a spiritually uplifting zone conference.

We also met with a lot of members this week and received enough food to never have to go grocery shopping again! (Well...at least for a while.) It was a great week!

I'm so grateful to be able to share the gospel with others! I know through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can truly be happy. I have seen that through my mission. I'm happy because this gospel makes me happy!!

Love,
