We don't have a lot of investigators right now, but one is a
woman in her sixties. She is really nice and has a lot of questions about the
gospel that are hard for us to answer. We decided to bring a member to our
lesson. It went really well. The member was able to answer a lot of the
investigators questions. It was neat to see the difference of a lesson when a
member helps the missionaries.
We were also able to do practice lessons with the members which was great, because we need all the help we can get! I know that without members, missionary work is not nearly as effective as is could be. Therefore, I want to be a better member missionary when I get home.
Alma 37:6-7 explains how it is by simple things that great
things occur. I think this best explains missionary work. By the small things
we do, someone will come to accept the message of the gospel. We can continue
to learn new things about the gospel. I know this gospel is true. I know God
loves and knows each and every one of us individually! I'm so happy
because the gospel helps me know who I am and who I can become. I know Joseph
Smith was a boy with a simple question and was chosen by God to teach us the
gospel of Jesus Christ. I know with all
my heart the gospel is true.
Have a great week! And Smile, Jesus Loves You!
Love,
Sister Mustain
